Sin, Redemption From

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give
him the name Jesus, because he will save his people
from their sins." Matthew 1:21


“Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that
through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed
to you." Acts 13:38


i But you know that he appeared so that he might
take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5


But if anyone does sin, we have one who
speaks to the Father in our defense Jesus Christ,
the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for
our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins
of the whole world. 1 John 2:1, 2

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree,
so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness
by his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full
acceptance Christ Jesus came into the world to
save sinners of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:15

Sin, Freedom From

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will
be clean I will cleanse you from all your impurities
and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart
and put a new spirit in you I will remove from
you your heart of stone and give you a heart of
flesh. Ezekiel 36:25, 26

All the prophets testify about him that everyone
who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins
through his name. Acts 10:43

For we know that our old self was crucified with
him so that the body of sin might be rendered
powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to
sin because anyone who has died has been freed
from sin. Romans 6:6, 7

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
